Today, we are going to be taking our first benchmark test. Please click here for the link for Study Island. Then, wait for everyone to be ready. Look over the entire question before answers. Skip questions you may be unsure of to go back to. Look over your answers when done. Once you have turned in your test, you should read the book you brought with you.

Today, we are going to begin by taking an Internet Safety pretest. Then, we will check over our answers, and then begin the FBI's SOS page for 4th grade, called Ice Island. Also, we will be completing a worksheet on the different terms related to the island. Begin working.

Go over the classroom rules and what we will be doing this year. Assign Seats Review different parts of the computer. Explain how to use the Wiki. Review exit procedures. Create a folder on the z:drive. Then, we are going to go over the school's Acceptable Use Policy. (AUP) If time allows, we will explore a little on Paint by drawing shapes and filling them in with a lighter shade.
